A positive digital footprint is important when going for a job.

What is a positive digital footprint?

Having a positive digital footprint the the new way employers can tell what sort of person you are, when you apply for a job the employers type your name into google and see what comes up. For instance type in ‘Joe Bloggs into google and up comes his facebook page, his display picture is one of him doing a burnout in his v6 commadore, thats not good. Where the next employee’s name is typed into google ‘Jennifer Johns’ it comes up that she has facebook too. Her display picture is one of her from her school formal, dressed nice and tidy in a pretty blue dress, thats good! some emlpoyers will base their elimination process on a employee’s digital footprint. Type your name into google and see what it comes up with??????

In ICT today we practiced our keyword challenge skills. we clicked into a program and there were 4 different challenges, the broadway challenge, the stamp collectors challenge, the hollywood challenge and the Great Wall challenge. the aim of the challenge is there is a question that would be typed into google, but the question is mega long. the whole idea is to pick out the important keywords that could be typed in an it will come up with what your your after, and then it will go down to the words that there are no need for like to, at, be and is. on the stamp collectors challenge i got 84% on my third attempt. on the graet wall challenge i got 81% on my third attempt. on the broadway challenge and also the hollywood challenge i scored 100% both on my second attempts. the stamp collectors and the Great wall challenge were by far the hardest.  Cheers Kels!

football’s world game,  played on a grass pitch 11 players per team. team 1 vs team 2. the aim of the game is to get the round shaped ball into to nets to score on point, points are very hard to score in a game, and scores usually end up 2 -3 or 1 all. and even sometimes no score at all for either team. there are rules to the game and its not as easy as what you think. one of the main rules of the game is your not allowed to touch the ball with your hands or arms. the main way of moving the ball from one end of the pitch is by kicking it along the ground. good foot skills is a key part in sucess in this game and it does take a fair bit of practice.

AFL (Australian Football League): played on a grass oval with two teams playing each other with 18 teams per side, and a further 4 a side on the inter-change bench. AFL is played with and oval shaped football made from leather. The idea of the game to to score the most goals by kicking the ball with your boot through the middle of the posts, the goals look like this 1 l l 1. Six points are scored if a person kicks it through the middle of the posts in the middle, 1 point is scored if the ball is touched by the opposition player beforer it goes through the goals or if the ball misses and goes through the outer two sections of the goals. A mark is payed when a player kicks the ball to a team mate and they mark it on the full. You can also run and bounce the ball to get the ball from one end to the other, whilst trying to be tackled by the opposition for them to get possesion of the ball. To learn more about the sport or watch a game go to youtube and type in AFL matches
